Scarlet by Marissa Meyer Book Review (Lunar Chronicles #2) (Spoilers: Beware)

Happy Saturday! I just finished Scarlet by Marissa Meyer and really loved it. This is book 2 in The Lunar Chronicles So here's review!

  Review:
Marissa Meyer has done it again. This book is truly amazing! I still can't over her brilliant idea of taking fairy tales and making them into a thrilling and exciting story. In this installment we meet some new characters. Scarlet is one of them. If you haven't guessed already her part in the story is like Little Red Riding Hood , but better. I really like Scarlett's character and how determined she is to save her grandmother. Wolf the street-fighter Scarlet meets isn't like The Big Bad Wolf. He's actually really nice and shy and willing to help Scarlet look for her grandmother. Although he is risking everything to do so. I really enjoy watching their relationship blossom. Though Wolf makes me a little angry towards the end of the novel. 
   Another new character we meet is Captain Carswell Thorne or Throne We meet him and Cinder is trying to escape prison. In case you were wondering he's in prison for stilling am American Republic ship. I love his character he is charming , flirty and hilarious. He meets Cinder as she is escaping and they escape prison together going on a fun journey together. NOT. They face many dangers , you know being fugitives and all. As well as Scarlet and Wolf except for the fugitives part.
  Back at the palace Prince Kai is stressing out on making sure he is doing the right thing for his country with Cinder escaping from prison. Although  he won't admit it , I think he may have still care about Cinder but tries to let those feelings go because his country needs to be safe. To add on top of his stress Queen Levana gives him an ultimatum. Find Cinder soon or she's going attack Earth! 
  I still don't like her she's just so evil. Now she knows Cinder is Princess Selene her heir. She wants her dead because Cinder is a threat and she wants to rule Luna forever.
   So that's all I have to say I give this book a 4/5 stars on goodreads. Read this book for a thrilling story and the rest of The Lunar Chronicles. Have a good weekend!
