"For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow and is a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12).

The word of God stands above everything. In times of darkness and light, we have the Word. The word of God has so many messages and teachings to guide us toward Christ-like love. The Word of God isn't just to be read. It is to be breathed into our lives. God created the word not to be a play-by-play or rulebook, but as a guide for our lives as Christians and to show how amazing a life with God can be. So I think it's important that before we try to turn to anything else, it is essential to turn to God and His word.
