Paranomalcy by Kiersten White Book Review

Happy Friday!! So last night I finished Paranormalcy by Kiersten White. I really enjoyed this book. Although the title made it seem like a bad and scary book , in my opinion it was thrilling and comedic story but still had a little suspense.

 Summary:

Weird as it is working for the International Paranormal Containment Agency , Evie's always thought of herself as normal. Sure , her best friend is a mermaid , her ex-boyfriend is a faerie , she's falling for a shape-shifter , and she's the only person who can see through paranormals' glamours, but still. Normal.

  Only now paranormals are dying , and Evie's dreams are filled with haunting voices and mysterious prophecies. She soon realizes that there may be a link between her abilities and the sudden rush of deaths. Not only that , but she may very well be at the center of   a dark faerie prophecy promising destruction to all paranormal creatures. So much for normal.(summary from book)

Review:

I absolutely adored this book. There was enough action , humor ,and love that made it the perfect good read novel. I love Evie's character. The fact that she's a basically a  paranormal cop but is still a girly girl. She love pink and not afraid to show it. Her sarcasm , wit , and humor really makes this story what it is. I love the way Kiersten White developed Evie's character. I mean Evie's character is totally hilarious! I gave this book 5 stars on good reads. It is a series and I can't wait to finish the rest of the series and see what happens with Reth(ex boyfriend) and Lend(current boyfriend). Also I am excited to see what other problem Evie may face in the future not saying she will. But most likely.  You will absolutely fall in love the characters in this story and maybe dislike a few. That's okay though. We all have those characters we don't like. So please pick up this story at your local bookstore or library you won't regret it.
