what I read in April

hello! I hope you all are doing well, today I wanted to share the books I read in April. It was a pretty solid reading month and I read some great books so let's get into it.

American Royals by Katharine McGee
If you follow my bookstagram (@theliteraryvogue) then you would know how much I LOVE this book! If you have not picked this up yet, please do. This book follows along with the idea of what if George Washington was offered a crown instead of a presidency and it is now following his descendants as Princess Beatrice gets ready to become the first Queen of America. (How cool does this sound?!?) This book brought me so much joy and the author is so sweet - she commented on my posts whenever I posted about her book and I just thought that was so kind she took the time to do that. I definitely want to meet her one day.
Okay, that is where I will end but seriously 10/10 recommend you pick up American Royals.

Watching You by Lisa Jewell
So I finally picked up a Lisa Jewell novel. I feel like I see her thrillers everywhere and people always have good things to say. Let me just say this took me on a ride and was such a fun/interesting read. I loved getting multiple points of view and how intricate the characters were.
All the Missing Girls by Megan Miranda
This was another great thriller! this is my second read of a Megan Miranda book and wow was it something. The entire plot was told backward from end to the beginning and that was so interesting to me and definitely made the story stand out.
Beach Read by Emily Henry( out 5/19)
This was my Book of the Month box pick and it was such a fun rom-com but I liked that it still delved into deep topics. This book was so fun and I fell in love with the plot and the characters. This book comes out in May and I would definitely recommend you pick this one up.
